Mold remediation · Charleston, SC

Mold remediation in Charleston.

Found a musty smell or a creeping stain? We test to find every source, contain it so it can't spread, remove it at the root, and document the work, so it's gone for good, not just painted over.

Restorify technicians removing mold-affected material under containment

Caught early, it's a dry-out. Left too long, it's a rebuild.

Mold doesn't pause. Containing it early keeps a spot remediation from becoming a whole-room tear-out.

How we handle it

Found, contained, removed for good.

  1. 1

    Inspect and identify the source

We find the moisture feeding the mold, because removal without fixing the source just invites it back.

  2. 2

    Contain the area

Plastic barriers and negative air pressure keep spores from spreading to clean rooms while we work.

  3. 3

    Removal and treatment

Affected materials are removed and structural surfaces are treated under continuous HEPA air filtration to capture airborne spores and prevent cross-contamination.

  4. 4

    Verify and document

We confirm the area is clean and hand you a documented record of the work.

Mold questions

Is all household mold dangerous?
Not all mold is toxic, but any indoor mold growth signals a moisture problem and can affect air quality and allergies. Rather than guess at the species, the safe move is to find the moisture source, contain the growth, and remove it properly.
Can't I just clean it with bleach?
Bleach can lighten surface staining, but it doesn't address mold growing into porous materials or the moisture feeding it, so it usually returns. Proper remediation removes the affected material and corrects the source.
Will the mold come back after you remove it?
Not if the moisture source is corrected. Mold needs water to grow, so our process always includes identifying and addressing what fed it. Otherwise any remediation is temporary.
